The Staff at Keezlenutten Farm

Keezlenutten Farm, LLC has a friendly and knowledgeable staff that consists of members of the Geisert family as well as residents of the area. Read through the list below to learn more about each of them.

Margaret Geisert - Even though Margaret is now very busy with her 3 grandsons, she is still a big part of the farm. She helps out at the trail barn as well as taking care of our 30+ horses! She has been riding and working with horses all of her life. Together with the help of her daughter, Emily, Margaret came up with the idea to start the trail program at the farm. This is Margaret with her Paso Fino "Isabella".
Greg Geisert - Greg helps out with trail program while maintaining the farm and doing the accounting - which we all appreciate since our pay checks fall in that category.
Joel Geisert - Joel helps out with maintaining the farm and takes care of anything related to computers! Plus he is a HUGE help at all our horse shows - between trailering, grooming and coaching, it would be hard to show without him! Joel got his first horse when he was 8, was in 4-H Bit & Bridle as a teenager, competed on the 4-H state judging team, received certificates in Equine Management and Horse Husbandry from Martin Community College in N.C., studied Animal Science with an emphasis in Equitation Instruction and Equine Reproduction, while there he competed on the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team in Stockseat. After graduating from Bridgewater College he helped establish the JMU riding team. This is Joel with his very versatile Arabian "King".
Danielle Geisert - Danielle took on managing the farm in 2006 and also teaches the riding lessons, works with the horses in the training program and handles all the advertising, Web design and database work at the farm. Danielle started riding at 9, competed on the National Capital Equitation League for 4 years, assisted in the jumper training program at a private barn in Aldie VA, started teaching lessons in 1996 and competes in the VHSA Schooling Jumper division with her horse "Street Car", placing in the top 6 for the year 3 times. This is Danielle with her show jumper/lesson horse "Street Car".
Tara Nemith - Tara is one of our trail guides. She's a JMU student that is also taking lessons and competing in the local jumper shows on Timmy. This is Tara with her favorite trail horse "Ace".
Lyndsey Russell - Lyndsey is one of our trail guides. She's a JMU student that rides locally at a hunter barn. This is Lyndsey with "Ali" at the trail barn.
Mandy McMahon - Mandy is one of our trail guides. She's a JMU student. This is Mandy with "Farrah" at the trail barn.
Corena Knicely - She is a licensed vet tech that takes care of herd health on the farm. This is Corena with her horse "Midnight".
Working Students
Abby - Abby works on Mondays. She owns Dancer (purchased late 2007). This is her on Monkey at our farm.
Kelsey - Kelsey works on Tuesdays. This is her on Buddy at our farm.
Autumn - Autumn works on Wednesdays. This is her on Monkey at a jumper show.
Amanda - You'll find Amanda at the farm just about any day of the week, but she generally works on Thursdays. She half-leases Street Car. This is her on Street Car at a jumper show
Kayla - Kayla works on Thursdays with Amanda. This is her on Timmy at a jumper show.
